PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This 1/6th plate ambrotype of a Union soldier is in great condition for it's age. Image is very clear and has been tinted. Buttons and belt buckle have been gold tinted . His trousers are blue tinted and his cheeks have a red tint. When image was removed to check for identification three locks of hair were discovered. One blonde with a blue ribbon wrapped in tissue paper and two other locks of brown hair. Unfortunately their was no name. Case is solid with hinge intact. Some damage to front right area of case. Hook closure is present and functions great.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This M1883 uniform is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Blouse is nice showing a period repair to back of collar. All eagle buttons to front and cuffs are present. Blouse does have approximately 10 small pinhead size moth holes which are hardly noticeable. Small interior pocket to blouse. Pants are nice but are missing some fly buttons. There is some mothing to seat area by rear seam. There is some stitching that has also come loose to rear seam, easy repair. There are approximately 19 other pinhead size or smaller moth holes throughout the pants. Sounds a lot worse than they actually are. Pants have a slight flare to bottoms. Blouse measures : chest 34" , length 29 1/2" and sleeve length 24 1/2" . Pants measure : Waist 34" and inseam 35". Overall a nice example of this harder to find uniform.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This cap is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Bill and chinstrap are solid showing some crazing. Both chinstrap eagle buttons are present. There are approximately five pinhead size moth nips to the light blue piping. There are no moth nips to the dark blue areas. Leather sweatband is intact and still very supple. There is a 1 1/4'" section of sweatband which is loose. Cap is maker marked : The Cincinnati Regalia Company Cincinnati , Ohio. Inside lining to cap is in great condition with no damage. Cap is missing front insignia.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Civil War US Staff & Field Officers Sword is in nice condition showing some light age. Blade is nice with no rust or pitting. Blade does have some small areas of light greying . Tip of blade is nice and comes to a precise point. Acid etching is still real nice and legible. Leather handle is nice but is missing the wire. Scabbard is dent free having a speckling of greying throughout. Still nice and bright. Blade is maker marked: The M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus O. . Blade measures 30 inches in length.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Confederate M1840 Mounted Artillery Saber is in fair condition showing some age and wear. The ricasso is stamped T.G. & Co. N.O. which stands for the firm of Thomas Griswold Company of New Orleans. The blade has grey patina and one nick about 7 inches from the tip. The handle still has the wire wrap but most off the leather is gone. There are no leather spacers so the brass guard is a little loose. The entire scabbard is made of brass and has a few dings and dents. There is a the letter M or W tapped into the scabbard between the suspension bands. Nice confederate saber with scarce maker.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Civil War Bullseye Canteen is in real nice condition. There are no dents and all three loops are still soldered tightly to the canteen. The sling appears to be original. There is an ink stamp that reads "U.S. Inspector" with some letters above that which are illegible. The cork chain is attached to a metal ring around the spout. I don't believe this ring to be original to this canteen. I have seen the chain attached to a small hole in one of the canteen loops but this canteen has no holes in any of the canteen loops. The spout is marked : Hadden,Porter & Booth Phila. .

Grip has all the leather wrap but is missing some of the wire. Blade shows some pitting towards the tip area. There are also some sword nicks to the blade and the very tip to the blade is blunted.
