PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This German Heer Buckle with Tab is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Buckle is marked with what appears to be a bell with two letters inside. The second letter appears to be the letter"S". Buckle is also 41 dated. Tab is nice but the makers mark is not legible. Nice combat worn buckle.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Early Feuerschutzpolizei Helmet is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Helmet shell has no dings or dents but does show some rust patina. The comb has a few dings. Chinstrap is supple and intact. Liner is in nice supple condition with all fingers intact. Drawstring is a replacement. One of the leather neck covering straps is broke. Rear rim of helmet is stamped : D.R.P. Thale.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This German Heer M42 Helmet is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Exterior paint is nice , interior top to dome shows some rust. I believe I see some white wash paint to interior around liner band. All brads are tight. Liner appears to be pigskin. All fingers are intact with no damage. Liner is still supple with no rot. Original drawstring is present. Rim is stamped E.F.62, lot number is hard to read. It might be 19980, that is a guess.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This WW2 Kriegsmarine Officers Brocade Belt Facing is in excellent condition. This was purchased by me approximately 30 years ago directly from the U.S. veteran who acquired it from a factory along with several other military insignia. Facing measures 38 1/2 inches in length and 2 inches wide. I placed it under a black light simply so I could say , "it does not glow".

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This German Feuerschutzpolizei Helmet is in real nice condition. Original exterior paint is approximately 96%. Shell has no dings or rust. Aluminum comb is also nice with no dents. Chinstrap is also very nice and supple with no rot. Liner is excellent with all fingers intact. Liner is size stamped 56. There is also a stamp to interior that has the date of 1939 and reads "Heer und Marine". There is also some other wording but a little hard to make out.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This DAF Visor Cap is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Cap has a lot of moth tracking to wool. There are a few tiny moth pinholes. Visor corners look to have been stitched, this may be a period repair ? Nice oilcloth label to interior. Leather sweatband is in very nice condition with no damage. Sweat shield is also embossed with DAF symbol. This is a solid cap with a very nice shape.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery Field Blouse & Overseas Cap are in real nice unused condition. Field Blouse was manufactured in Paris France in 1941 as size ink stamp denotes. There is a single metal hook and eye at front neckline. Breast Eagle is period hand sewn on and also appears French made. Collar tabs are machine sewn on. Typical zig zag stitching under collar. Wound pouch pocket is still stitched closed. Overseas cap is in nice condition. Eagles left wing has some loose threads. Eagle is period hand sewn on. Pip and soutache are both period machine sewn to cap. Cap is ink stamped with the maker : Opolka & Muller Hamburg 1940. Cap has two size stamps , one is 53 and one is 56. The story goes that forced laborers made these caps too small to wear and at a later dated they were resized. So, the two different size marks and the added material to enlarge them. Cap and blouse both have some moth tracking but no holes. All original buttons are present. With no replacements or restitching. Beautiful original set .
