PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This WW2 German Mauser k98 Bayonet is in fair condition showing some use and wear. Blade is in real nice unsharpened condition. Blade has no rust or pitting. Pommel and cross guard show some loss of finish but no rust or pitting. Scabbard also shows some loss to finish. One tiny ding to front of scabbard . Bayonet is matching numbers, cof 44 & 1806 e. The "cof" code is for the firm of Carl Eickhorn. Scabbard markings are light but legible. Release button functions great. Ball tip and pommel are waffen proofed.
