No holes or tears to cover. Faint U.S. to front of cover. Canteen is real nice with no chips or cracks to cap. No major dings or dents. Canteen is marked : U.S. Massillon AL. Co. 1945. Cup is dent free and is marked : U.S. Foley Mfg. Co. 1944.
